The chess software you have described are very nice, but i have found a new one. It is called "ChessGenius" and it's a brand new software for beginners and pros alike! It has a user friendly interface with the option to pick how hard or easy your opponent is. You can set it specifically to only practice openings, checkmates, and even reverse openings. It's an ideal program for a chess player looking to expand their chess knowledge.

So people may feel hard to find an apt opponent to them, such people can take advantage on these new softwares.
